Episode 12: Reflections on an Epic Journey

Day 10 marks the end of the challenge and the boys completed a relatively short day leaving them with plenty of energy to celebrate what has been a fantastic achievement.
Day 9.Struggling against the elements, terrain and mechanical difficulties with one of the bikes the penultimate day marks 821 miles covered and the boys think back to the journey they have just completed and the fantastic support they have received.
Day 8 and the boys have put in another set of extra miles to further reduce the length of the last day. They share with us cycling etiquette and a few concerns for roads and our native wildlife.
Day Seven and the boys are closing in on the west country. The going is good but for some knee compaints and spirits sound high as a famous crooner is spotted en route.
Day Six and the boys are heading for the Forest of Dean, their knee’s are proving to be the most painful affliction so far but they take the opportunity to thank once again all those who have supported them on this challenge.
Now heading through the north-west towards Shropshire, pain levels increase as the challenge continues to test the boys will-power, strength and determination.
Day Three and the boys continue through the breathtaking Scottish Highlands through some very hilly and windy conditions.
Day Two into the challenge and the boys are going well, 99 miles covered and with only some minor mechanical difficulties with one of the bikes they continue to forge through Scotland.
Matt and Will complete their first day and their first 89 miles as they arrive rather wet at their first stop point at Tain. How far south will they have to go before someone serves them pasta?
