Our Thanks
Our trip is not even under way yet, but already there is an ever growing list of people that have helped hugely in its planing.
Our main sponsors. Obviously the success of our trip to raise funds depends on the generosity of all those that sponsor us. Although all donations are extremely well received, we must pay special thanks to the following for their donations:

Our “Management Team”. We hasten to add they decided their title, not us. In an age when corporate title often replaces a salary increase, we have in this instance let it lie. The management team will be in charge of assisting in all things logistics and navigation throughout the planning stages and the trip itself. It is worth noting that while supporting our 1,000 mile trip, we expect the team to clock up over 2,500 miles themselves in the support van. A huge thanks to Keith Green and John Moore.
All those at NetCommunities, especially Andy and Martin. They put the site together and will be assisting in its management while we are on the road.
Charlie Turner, for his logo and letter head design that you will see throughout the site and other mail. A big thanks to him for all his hard work again, especially as when we asked him he was travelling with work and running at a million miles an hour. He always comes up with the goods, so a massive thanks to him.
Sarah Green, for acting as our travel agent, and booking all our accommodation for the trip, with varying numbers and room combinations adding to her work. Negotiating room discounts, and in some cases even a free glass of wine with our evening meal! A thankless task really Sarah, but THANK YOU.
Helen and Sarah deserve a really speacial thank you. As we finish the final weekend training ride, and complete other more general preparations, it becomes more and more evident just how much they have both helped. In terms of how much they have to give up, such as their time both with us, and without us, and more importantly their Summer Holiday away!
As we disappeared off for hours of training, they were obviuosly left at home having forgone large chunks of their valuable weekend. Without their massive support and backing, we simply could not have managed to get to where we are now.
We are extreamly lucky to have you both.
George and Jan Canvin, for getting out of the sponsorship blocks so quickly. Within days of mentioning our trip to him he seemed to have secured a considerable amount of money for our causes. I am sure we will have many many more people to thank along the same lines, but he has certainly stated very strongly and may take some catching.
John and Liz Townrow, for again being so proactive with the fund raising that will make our event so much of success. They have spent many hours sending out over 100 letters telling people what we are about to undertake. Many many thanks for all your help.
Sports in Science, SIS. For the very generous discount they have given us when purchasing from their product range.
Endura, for providing us with a substantial discount on their excellent cycling clothing, especially much-needed shorts. Thank you very much to Jim and Shona for your extremely generous contribution.
Please be aware this list is very much a work in progress and only represents the first few we uploaded onto the site. This list will grow hugely over the coming days, so in the mean time thanks to all that have helped in any way at all.
